We strive to offer a warm and friendly environment that’s welcome for even the youngest of patients. We’ll do everything we can to make sure that your child is completely comfortable in his or her visit because an early screening is highly important to a child’s oral health.
The American Association of Orthodontists recommends that a child’s first visit to the orthodontist is at the age of seven. Because the severity of the case will vary from patient to patient, there’s no certain answer to this question. Comprehensive orthodontic treatment will begin by having the appliances placed. After this, there will be scheduled follow-up appointments with adjustments. When the appliances are finally removed, there will be a retention phase in order to make sure the teeth keep their alignment. Typically, this entire process will last for approximately two years.
